Toppings (optional): Roasted Garlic Aioli, lettuce, sliced tomatoes & onions, sprouts, pickles
- In Sauté Pan or cast-iron pan, heat oil over medium-high heat.
- Meanwhile, sprinkle 2 tbsp seasoning over chicken. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
- In a small bowl, whisk together remaining seasoning, honey, orange juice, and soy sauce.
- Once pan is heated, add chicken, cook 2 min, or until it releases easily from the pan. Flip; pour reserved sauce overtop. Flip occasionally to coat pieces of chicken. Cook until an instant read thermometer registers at 165° F.
- Once cooked, remove from heat; place chicken on cutting board. If you have time, rest 5 min.
- Tuck chicken into buns and add optional toppings, if desired.
To get that perfect “crust” on your chicken, your pan needs to be hot! To test if it’s hot enough, carefully add a drop of water to the pan with oil: it should make the oil sizzle.
